TPS60: America 1844 and America Today

In 1842 Charles Dickens toured the United States. He spent several days on Capitol Hill and kept careful notes which he published in a most controversial book in 1843. That was the same year he published his most influential story of all, A Christmas Carol. Charles Dickens, John Quincy Adams, Ebeneezer Scrooge and Tiny Tim all fill the studio this week on The Public Square®, plus a sneak peek at the upcoming live radio episode of Christmas in America 1844. Please don’t miss it!
